I was slightly obsessed with all the textiles, so I decided to imitate some of the weave patterns we saw.
Would you just look at those smug turds. Just landing in Peru, and starting their 6 month adventure.
The hotel we stayed at (Amaru I Hostal) was very cute and had a great view of the town.
These girls are insanely cute. It is their profession to be cute, actually. They accept money for pictures by tourists. I couldn’t help myself – I mean, hello, they had a baby sheep!
The murals and graffiti in Cusco were gorgeous and so intricate. I especially loved the one to the lower left.
This was one of the many parties / festivals that took place in Cusco while we were there. Peruvians love to celebrate, and celebrating Saints is as good an excuse as any. And there happen to be enough Saints for every week of the year.
The famous Pisco Sour. Anywhere you go in Cusco, you can find them. They’re made from the local Pisco liquor, and lots of fresh lime juice, simple syrup, Angostura bitters, and an egg white for the foam on top. We’re just doing a bit of cultural research here.
One of my favorite things to do while traveling is to sit down somewhere and sketch for awhile. It combines my love of sitting and zoning out.
Oh, the textiles!!! I was definitely in heaven.
Look at this guy. I’ve made a huge mistake. (We’ve been watching a lot of Arrested Development this week) 😉
Mr. Time Keeper.
